Been forever since I've logged on!!! Today I went to the coast and did a photo shoot with this gorgeous young lady. I have taken many of photos of her and you'll notice this on my website. It was a beautiful fall day, I had my jacket on figuring it would be cold right by the ocean, but I was in my t-shirt within minutes.
Always the happy and photogenic, Lily posed comfortably for me throughout all of it :) Always the good sport.
I had never done maternity pictures however I wanted to. Once again my wonderful cousin whom put her trust in me to do my first wedding job did the same thing for her maternity portraits. I'm very happy with the result and in less than two months I'll be taking the first formal pictures of their daughter...I can't wait!!

I was fortunate enough this summer to get one of the weeks that was all sun during my vacation. I spent a couple days at the ocean and was able play with my camera a bit and take these pictures. I took several more but these came out by far the best.
Gorgeous, isn't she? She's a challenge to photograph this one :) Always has, I've been taking pictures of her since she was born. During these sessions I gave up on askng her to smile, attached my long range lens and just let her play. Seems I've finally found the trick when it comes to this active little girl.
My cousin Ashley got married in May of 2008, I had never done a wedding before but her and her fiancee took it upon themselves to trust me with being the photographer at their wedding. It was my first wedding and as nervous as I was I was very happy (and so were they) with the results. Since then I have done two others and find that it is such an honor to be able to provide a couple with portraits that they can treasure for many years to come.
The Picture above is the picture that made me determine that photography is a skill that I want to expand on. I took it over three years ago and it came out this way by chance as Alana leaned over to give her sister a kiss, I snapped the shot. I have since always loved this picture!!
